STICKY LIGHT TRAP
- This traps helps in controlling the sucking pests like mosquitoes, white fly etc.
- This trap is made by painting a metal sheet yellow and applying castor oil or grease over it. keep this trap at various places in the field.
- When the insects gets attracted by this yellow colour they stick to the castor oil or grease and die.
- This trap is highly used in bhendi and cotton crops.
- 4 – 6 traps is enough for 1 acre of field. Depending on pest incidence the number of traps may vary.
