Paecilomyces lilacinus

உயிர் பேசிலோமைசிஸ் லீலாசினஸ் : 

      உயிர் பேசிலோமைசிஸ் லீலாசினஸ் என்பது ” பேசிலோமைசிஸ் லீலாசினஸ்” என்னும் “ஹைப்போமைசிடஸ்’ பூசணம் கொண்ட உயிரியல் பூச்சிக் கொல்லி ஆகும். பேசிலோமைசிஸ் லீலாசினஸ் புரேட்டியேஸ் , கைட்டினேசஸ் போன்ற ஹைப்போலைட்டிக் நொதிகளை சுரக்கிறது. இந்த நொதிகள் நூற்புழுக்களின் முட்டை ஓட்டில் உள்ள கைட்டின் மற்றும் பிற புரதங்களைச் சிதைக்கிறது. முட்டைகளையும் அழிக்கிறது. 

பயன்கள் 

1.  நூற்புழுக்கள் மற்றும் முட்டைகளை (மெலோய்டோகைன் இன்காக் நிட்டா, மெலோயடோகைன் ஜவானிகா, ரோட்டிலென்கஸ் ரெனிஃபார்மிஸ் மற்றும் பிற வகைகள் அழிக்க உதவுகிறது.                                                                                                                                                   
2.  பூசண இழைகள் மற்றும் வித்துக்கள் நூற்புழுக்கள் மற்றும் முட்டைகளில் ஊடுருவுகின்றன. இவை நூற்புழுக்களின் உடம்பைப் பலவீனப் படுத்தி அவற்றைக் கொல்கின்றன.                            
3.  இறந்த நூற்புழுக்களின் மேல் இவை பெருகி பல மடங்காக ஆவதால் மேற்கொண்டு நூற்புழுத் தாக்குதல் தடுக்கப் படுகின்றது.                                                                                                             
4. இவை மறைமுகமாக வேர் அழுகல், வாடல், கிழங்கு அழுகல் போன்ற நோய்களைக் கட்டுப் படுத்துகின்றன.

உயிரின் உயிரியல் பூஞ்சாணக் கொல்லி உபயோகப்படுத்தும் வழி முறைகள் : 

1. விதை நேர்த்தி 

100-250 மில்லி உயிரின் உயிர் உரங்களை (அளவு விதையைப் பொறுத்தது) 50 மில்லி ஆறிய அரசிக் கஞ்சி (அ) 5 சதவீத வெள்ளக் கரைசலில் நன்கு கலக்கவும். ஒரு ஏக்கருக்கு தேவையான விதைகளை இந்தக் கரைசலில் கலக்கவும். விதைகளின் மேல் சீரனா பூச்சு வந்தவுடன் நிழலில் 30 நிமிடங்கள் உலர்த்தவும். விலை நேர்த்தி செய்யப்பட்ட விதைகளை 24 நேரத்திற்குள் விதைக்கவும். 

2. நாற்றுகள் நனைத்தல் 

250மி உயிரின் உயிர் உரங்களை 50 லிட்டர் தண்ணீ ரில் கலக்கவும் ஒரு ஏக்கருக்குத் தேவையான நாற்றுக்களின் வேர்ப்பகுதியை இந்தக் கரைசலில் 15 நிமிடங்கள் வைத்திருந்து நடவும். 

3. மண்ணில் இடுதல் 

500மி முதல் லிட்டர் வரை உயிரின் உயிர் உரங்களை 100 – 200 கிலோ நன்கு மக்கிய தூளான தொழு உரம் அல்லது உயிர் இயற்கை உரத்துடன் நன்கு கலக்வம். விதைப்பதற்கு முன் (அ) நாற்று நடுவதற்கு முன் இந்த உரத்தை வயல் முழுவதும் தூவவும் வளர்ந்த நிலையில் உள்ள பயிர்களின் வேர்களில் இட்டு மண் அணைக்கவும். 

முன்னெச்சரிக்ககைகள் 

1.  இரசாயன உரங்கள்; பூசணாகக் கொல்லிகள் மற்றும் இரசாயன பூச்சிக் கொல்லகளுடன் உயிர் உரங்களைக் கலக்கக் கூடாது.                                                                                  
2. நிழலான , குளிர்ந்த இடத்தில் உயிர் உரங்களை வைக்கவும்.                                                                             
3. காலாவதி ஆகும் முன்பு உபயோகிக்கவும்.                                                                                                            
4. இரசாயன உரங்கள் மற்றும் பூச்சிக் கொல்லிகள் பயன் படுத்துவதற்கு 2 வாரம் முன் அல்லது பின் உயிரியல் பூச்சிக் கொல்லிகளை பயன்படுத்தவும்.

Paecilomyces lilacinus

Paecilomyces lilacinus is a biopesticide based on the “Hypomycetus” fungus “Paecilomyces lilacinus”. It secretes hypolytic enzymes such as proteases and chitinases. These enzymes degrade chitin and other proteins in the eggshell of nematodes. Also destroys eggs.

uses

1. It helps to destroy nematodes and eggs (Meloidogyne incognita ,Meloidogyne javanica, Rotylenchulus reniformis and other species. 
2. Fungal filaments and spores penetrate nematodes and eggs. These weaken the body of nematodes and kill them. 
3. On top of the dead nematodes as they multiply , nematode infestation is prevented.
4.  These helps in controlling  diseases like root rot, wilt, tuber rot. 
5. Seed treatment – 100- 250/ per acre of seeds 
6. Seedling drench – 250 ml per acre of seedlings
7.  Spraying – 5-10 ml per acre
8. Soil application – 500 ml -1 liter per acre

Ways to use biological fungicides:

1. Seed treatment

     Mix 100-250 ml of organic bio-fertilizers (quantity depends on the seed) with 50 ml of cooled rice gruel  or 5 percent jaggery solution. Mix the required number of seeds per acre in this solution. Once the seeds are coated thoroughly, dry them in the shade for 30 minutes. Treated  seeds cane be sown within 24 hours

2. Dipping the seedlings

Mix 250 ml of organic bio-fertilizers in 50 liters of water and dip  the roots of seedlings required for one acre in this solution for 15 minutes.

3.Land preparation 

   Mix 500ml to 1 liter of organic bio-fertilizers with 100-200 kg of well-composted cow dung or organic compost. Before sowing or  Before transplanting, sprinkle this fertilizer over the field and apply it to the roots of the grown crops to cover the soil.

Precautions

1. Biofertilizers should not be mixed with  Chemical fertilizers; Fungicides and chemical pesticides.
2.  Store compost in a shady, cool place. 
3. Use before expiry.
4.  Apply pre or post biological insecticides 2 weeks before application of chemical fertilizers and pesticides
