FOOD TRAP

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

• Rice                       : 1kg
• Turmeric powder : 50gm

PROCEDURE:

    Add the turmeric powder to the rice and cook it. The cooked rice looks yellow in colour. Take this rice In small containers and keep at various places In the field. This attracts the birds and the birds which feed on them also feed on the pests in the field. This food trap must be kept in the fields of pulses and other crops at the period before flowering for preventing the pest attack.
