பிவேரியா பேசியானா என்பது “பிவேரியா பேசியானா” என்னும் பூச்சிகளைக் கொள்ளும் பூஞ்சாணத்தைக் கொண்ட ஒரு உயிரியல் பூச்சிக் கொல்லியாகும்.
பயன்கள்
- லெப்டாப்டிரான் வகைகளைச் சேர்ந்த இலைகளை உண்ணும் கம்பளிப் புழுக்கள், தண்டு துளைப்பான்கள், காய் புழுக்கள், பழத் துளைப்பான்கள், படைப்புழு போன்ற பல பூச்சிகளையும், சாறு உறிஞ்சும் பூச்சிகளையும் திறம்பட ஒடுக்குகிறது.
- பூசண வித்துக்களில் இருந்து உருவாகும் பூசண இழைகள் நோய் தொற்றை உருவாக்கும் ஊசி போன்ற அமைப்பின் மூலம் பூச்சிகளின் உடம்பைத் துளைத்து உள் செல்கிறது. உள் புறத்தில் பூசணம் பல மடங்காகப் பெருகி, அனைத்துத் திசுக்களையும் அழித்து விடுவதால் பூச்சிகள் இறக்க நேரிடுகிறது.
- இறந்த பூச்சிகளின் மேல் பல மடங்காகப் பெருகுகிறது. காற்று, மழைநீர் பாசனம் ஆகியவற்றின் மூலம் இதன் வித்துக்கள் பரவி பூச்சிகளை நிரந்தரமாக ஒடுக்கிறது.

Beauveria bassiana is a biological insecticide containing the powdery mildew of “Beauveria bassiana”.

- It effectively suppresses many insects like leptopteran leaf-feeding mealybugs, stem borers, fruit borers, fruit borers, mealybugs and sap-sucking insects.
- Fungal filaments formed from fungal spores pierce the insect’s body through a needle-like system causing infection. The fungus multiplies on the inner surface and destroys all the tissues, causing the insects to die.
- It multiplies on dead insects. Its seeds are spread by wind and rainwater irrigation and permanently suppresses the insects.
